21A. Requirements for infused gin [7(1)(b); 27(1)(a)]

 

Infused gin shall—

 

(a) be produced by macerating juniper and other flavourings of plant origin, but not extracts or essences thereof, in a spirit;

 

(b) have a predominant taste and aroma characteristic of juniper; and

 

(c) have an alcohol content of at least 43 per cent.
