Chapter 6A : Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation

17I. Coordination by Cabinet

 

(1) The President shall for purposes of subsections (2) and (3) designate a Ministerial Committee which shall include—
(a) at least the Ministers of—
(i) Police;
(ii) Finance;
(iii) Home Affairs;
(iv) State Security; and
(v) Justice and Constitutional Development;
(b) any other Minister designated from time to time by the President.

 

(2) The Ministerial Committee may determine procedures to coordinate the activities of the Directorate and other relevant Government departments or institutions.

 

(3)
(a) The Ministerial Committee shall meet as regularly as necessary and shall report to Parliament on its activities as part of the annual report of the Directorate.
(aA) The Ministerial Committee shall at any time, upon being requested to do so, report to Parliament.
