(1)	The Minister shall, in terms of section 3(5) of the Act, annually make determinations regarding the total cost-to-employer package applicable to members of the SMS. Such determinations shall be implemented with effect from 1 April of each year.

(2)	Any determination made by the Minister in terms of subregulation (1) shall consider any relevant advice of the panel established in terms of regulation 98(2).
