The Minister, provided that it is permitted in terms of applicable legislation, may at any time, after consultation with the Director-General, in writing notify the Head: MISA that MISA is instructed to perform other functions previously performed by the department and which are complementary or additional to the functions listed in subparagraph 2.2 or items (a), (b), (c), (d) or (e) above.  The Head: MISA and the Director-General should then enter into an agreement for the orderly and efficient transfer of that function and concomitant funding to MISA, in terms of the written instruction from the Minister.
