| (1) | The period required in terms of section 20(2)(c)(iii) of the Act for the recognition of a variety of a kind of plant indicated in column 1 of Table 2, which is also being evaluated in terms of section 22 of the Act shall be as specified in column 3 of the said table opposite the name of the kind concerned. |

| (2) | The particulars specified in paragraph 1 of Table 3 in regard to the recognition of a variety shall be published in terms of section 20(3) of the Act. |
