Any person who is or may be exposed to lead in the, workplace, shall obey any lawful instruction given by or on behalf of the employer or a self-employed person, regarding –
| (a) |
the prevention of lead being released into the environment; |
| (b) |
the wearing and use of personal protective equipment; |
| (c) |
the wearing of monitoring equipment to measure personal exposure to airborne lead; |
| (d) |
reporting for medical surveillance as required by regulation 8; |
| (e) |
the notification of pregnancy to the occupational health practitioner; |
| (f) |
the cleaning up and disposal of materials containing lead; |
| (g) |
housekeeping at the workplace, personal hygiene and good environmental and health practices; and |
| (h) |
information and training received as contemplated in regulation 4. |
