The Deputy Minister of Health and Welfare has, in terms of section 2(1)(a) of the Hazardous Substances Act, 1973, read together with section 27(1) of the Republic of South Africa Constitution Act, 1983, declared the substances specified in the Schedule hereto to be Group II hazardous substances.
