Notice is hereby given that, I, Mandisi Mpahlwa, Minister of Trade and Industry, hereby, in terms of section 45(1) read with section 87(1)(b) and Item 6 of the Schedule to the National Gambling Act, 2004, prescribe the following maximum number of casino licences that may be granted throughout the Republic, and divided among the provinces as follows:
| (i) | Eastern Cape 5; |
| (ii) | Free State 4; |
| (iii) | Gauteng 7; |
| (iv) | KwaZulu-Natal 5; |
| (v) | Mpumulanga [sic] 4; |
| (vi) | Limpopo 3; |
| (vii) | Northern Cape 3; |
| (viii) | North West 4; |
| (ix) | Western Cape 5. |
This regulation takes effect on 01 March 2006.
