In these regulations any word or expression to which a meaning has been assigned in the Act shall bear such meaning and, unless the context indicates otherwise—
"applicant"
means any person who applies for registration as a forensic pathology officer;
"professional board"
means the Professional Board for Medical Technology established in terms of section xx of the Act;
"the Act"
means the Health Professions act, 1974 (ActNo. 56 of 1974 terms of section 15 of the Act.
