A licensed central securities depository may, for the purpose of establishing a central securities depository link to perform settlement services in terms of the depository rules, approve an external central securities depository that has been recognised in terms of section 6A of the Act, as a participant of the central securities depository as contemplated in section 35(4) of the Act.
