The Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996 (Act No. 108 of 1996), has been amended with Special Remission of Sentence for certain Categories of Sentenced Offenders, Correctional Supervision and Parolees, as per Proclamation 133 of GG49106, dated 11 August 2023.

The Constitution has been updated with Proclamation No. 56 of 2009 published in Government Gazette No. 32549 dated 4 September 2009.

 

The Constitution has been updated by Proclamation No. 44 of 2009 regarding the Transfer of Administration and Powers and Functions to certain Cabinet members, published in Government Gazette No. 32367 dated 1 July 2009.

 

The Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996 has been updated with the Constitution Sixteenth Amendment Act of 2009, as published in Government Gazette No. 32065 dated 26 March 2009 as well as a Government Notice regarding the commencement of this Amendment, being Notice No. R.20 of 2009 in Government Gazette No. 32091 dated 2 April 2009.

 

The Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996 has been updated with the Constitution Fourteenth Amendment Act No. 24 of 2008 published in Government Gazette No. 31791 dated 9 January 2009, and the Constitution Fifteenth Amendment Act No. 25 of 2008 published in Government Gazette No. 31792 dated 9 January 2009.

 

This Act has been updated by the addition of the Constitution Thirteenth Amendment Act of 2007 (Act No. 23 of 2007) as published in Government Gazette No. 30597 dated 14 December 2007.

This Act has been updated by the addition of the Constitution Twelfth Amendment Act of 2005 – (Notice No. 1262 in Government Gazette No. 28364 dated 23 December 2005).

The Constitutional Court Rules as gazetted in GG 25726 dated 31 October 2003 have been added to the Constitution.

The Constitution has been amended by Acts 2 and 3 of 2003 as gazetted in GG 24957 dated 19 March 2003, and GG 24744 dated 11 April, 2003.
