Depending on the seriousness of the misconduct, the officer’s previous record and any mitigating or aggravating factors, the sanctions for misconduct may include—
(a) | a verbal warning; |
(b) | a written warning valid for six months; |
(c) | a final written warning valid for six months; |
(d) | suspension without pay for no longer than three months; |
(e) | demotion as an alternative to dismissal, if the officer consents thereto; or |
(f) | dismissal. |
