| (1) | An official appointed in terms of section 13(1)(b) of the Act must not conduct remunerative work outside of the Authority unless authorised thereto by the Commissioner. |
| (2) | Authorisation to conduct remunerative work outside of the Authority may not be granted where— |
| (a) | the work to be performed will be conducted during official work hours; |
| (b) | the official equipment or resources of the Authority will be used for that work; or (c) the work to be conducted conflicts with the work of the Authority or has the potential to cause reputational damage to the Authority. |
