Constitution of the Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority (HWSETA)
The name of this SETA is the Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority, referred to in this Constitution as "the Authority".
|(a)||The Authority is a juristic person.|
|(b)||The Authority may authorise any person or persons to act on its behalf and to sign all documents and to take all steps as may be necessary in connection with any legal proceedings brought by or|
|(c)||against the Authority.|
|(d)||The Authority is governed by the Act, the SDLA, and this Constitution.|
|(e)||The Authority is an organisation not for gain.|
|(3)||Scope of Coverage|
The scope of coverage of the Authority is the Health and Social Development sector determined by the Minister in terms of section 9(2) of the Act. The Minister’s determination is reproduced in Annexure "A" to this Constitution.
|(4)||Organisations in the sector|
The trade unions, employer organizations and relevant government departments in the sector are set out in Annexure B to this Constitution.
