22.2 The Tender Committee


22.2.1 Duties and functions The Tender Committee shall be responsible for the procurement and tender processes of THETA. It shall be responsible to and shall report to THETA through the Executive Committee and shall exercise such powers and functions as may be entrusted or delegated to it by the Executive Committee. The Tender Committee shall at all times exercise its powers and functions subject to the Act, this constitution and any applicable legislation, policies and procedures. In particular, but without limiting the generality of this, the Tender Committee shall have the following specific functions: to monitor the implementation of the procurement and tender policies and procedures of the THETA; to consider, review and authorise advertisements of the THETA calling for tender submissions; to consider, review and authorise requests for proposals in relation to the THETA'S tender processes; to adjudicate and determine the award of tenders at the THETA.
