The Minister may terminate membership of a member of the Council where—
| (a) |
a member fails to perform the duties of a member in terms of this Act or the codes; |
| (b) |
a member obstructs or impedes the Council in the performance of its functions in terms of this Act or the codes; |
| (c) |
a member fails to declare a conflict of interest between his or her affairs and those of the Council; |
| (d) |
a member acts in a manner that is likely to bring the Council into disrepute; |
| (e) |
a member misuses or misappropriates Council funds or resources; |
| (g) |
such termination is in the interest of the public. |
