A person who intends to carry out a restricted activity involving a specimen of a listed threatened or protected species, which species has not been listed as threatened or protected prior to the commencement of these Regulations, must within three months of the corning into operation of these Regulations, apply for a permit in terms of Chapter 4 of the Biodiversity Act.
