| (1) | The purpose of this regulation is to— |
| (i) | establish the NETC as an advisory body to the Minister in relation to policy matters pertaining to school education; |
| (ii) | prescribe the composition of the NETC; |
| (iii) | prescribe qualification for membership of the NETC; |
| (iv) | prescribe the powers and duties of the NETC; and |
| (v) | prescribe the term of office of its members. |
