National Education Policy Act, 1996 (Act No. 27 of 1996)6. Consultation on legislation |
Legislation on a matter referred to in section 3 shall be introduced in Parliament or, in the case of regulations, be published in the Gazette only after consultation between the Minister and—
| (a) | the Council, in respect of education at education institutions; and |
| (b) | all the parties in the Education Labour Relations Council established by section 40 of the Labour Relations Act 1995 (Act No. 66 of 1995), in respect of any matter falling within the objectives of that Act. |
