By virtue of the powers vested in me in terms of Section 28 of the Water Services Act, 1997 (Act No. 108 of 1997) I, Mr Senzo Mchunu, in my capacity as the Minister of Water and Sanitation, hereby give notice to extend the boundary of Umgeni Water to include the entire jurisdictional area of Mhlathuze Water to form a single Water Board in the KwaZulu-Natal Province, effective 01 July 2023.
