An application for accreditation as a tourist transport operator under section 82 of the Act must be lodged by completing the application form shown in Schedule 1 and submitting it to the NPTR with the application fee specified in Schedule 2.
| (1) | The application form must be fully and properly completed and be accompanied by the documents or proof described in the form and required to be attached, which must include copies of all operating licences and permits issued for vehicles operated by the applicant on the date of application. |
| (2) | The NPTR may require the applicant to submit additional information or documentation. |
| (3) | The applicant must nominate, in the application form, a responsible person as contact person between the NPTR and the operator and must, where such person leaves the employment of the operator, nominate another person as contact person in writing within seven days. |
| (4) | An accredited operator may apply at any time to amend the conditions attached to his, her or its accreditation by completing the application form shown in Schedule 1 and submitting it to the NPTR with the application fee specified in Schedule 2. |
