| 1) | to assist in the performance of its functions, and any such committee may include persons who are not members of the Board. |
| 2) | If a committee consists of more than one member, the Board shall designate one member of such committee as chairperson thereof. |
| 3) | A committee so established shall be accountable to the Board. |
| 4) | The assistance contemplated in subsection (1) does not absolve the Board from its responsibility under this Act. |
| 5) | A person appointed to a committee in terms of subsection (1) who is not in the full-time employment of the State shall be paid such remuneration and allowances in respect of any expenses incurred in the performance of the functions of the committee as the Minister may |
