(1)	The MEC may, on good cause shown, condone the late application, for an appeal contemplated in subregulation 6(1).

(2)	In deciding whether good cause has been shown for condonation, the MEC must take the following factors into consideration—

(a)	the reason for the delay;

(b)	whether it is in the interests of justice that condonation be granted; and

(c)	if there are reasonable prospects of success.

(3)	An application for condonation provided for in subregulation (1) must be in a form that corresponds substantially with Form 6 in PART 2.
