Multi-Party Democracy Fund

The Electoral Commission hereby gives notice in terms of Regulation 2(1) of the Regulations on Political Party Funding, 2017 that a total amount available for allocation for the period 01 January 2022 until 31 March 2022, to represented political parties, from the Multi-Party Democracy Fund established in terms of the Political Party Funding Act 6 of 2018 is R4 992 086.48 (four million nine hundred ninety-two thousand eighty-six rands and forty-eight cents).

This amount will be allocated in the fourth quarter of 2021/2022 financial year to represented political parties, in terms of Section 6(7) of the Act, read with Regulation 5(1) and 5(3) of the Regulations on Political Party Funding, 2017.
