Chapter 2 : Authority and Members

Members of the Authority may exercise all their powers under this Act and must—

(a)	perform all their duties in terms of this Act;

(b)	act in a justifiable and transparent manner whenever the exercise of their discretion is required;

(c)	at all times act in the interest of the Authority and not in their own or sectoral interersts;

(d)	act independently of any undue influence or instruction;

(e)	recuse themselves from and refrain from voting on or discussing any matter before the Authority in which they have a direct or indirect interest; and

(f)	act in a manner that is required and expected from the holder of a public office.
