| (1) |
The Cabinet member responsible for the administration of justice— |
| (a) |
must establish an Office for the prosecuting authority at the seat of each Division of the High Court provided for in terms of section 6(1); and |
| (b) |
may, in consultation with the National Director, establish an Office for the prosecuting authority at the local seat of a Division contemplated in section 6(3)(c), |
of the Superior Courts Act, 2013 (Act No. 10 of 2013).

An Office established by this section shall consist of— |
| (e) |
the administrative staff of the Office. |
| (3) |
If a Deputy Director is appointed as the head of an Office established by subsection (1), he or she shall exercise his or her functions subject to the control and directions of a Director designated in writing by the National Director. |
