| 1) | A licence holder shall not exchange cash for cash except to enable a patron to participate in gambling where cash is used as the stake, or for the purpose of converting cash won by the patron while participating in gambling for different denominations of cash. |
| 2) | A licence holder shall not- |
| a) | issue a cheque or other negotiable instrument; or |
| b) | transfer any funds to or on behalf of a patron, in exchange for cash, chips, tokens or other value instruments, unless the licence holder is satisfied that the patron has genuinely participated in gambling. |
