| 1) |
The board is responsible to- |
| a) |
account for State and other money received by, or paid for or on account of, the board; and |
| b) |
cause the necessary accounting and related records to be kept, |
in accordance with the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act No. 1 of 1999).
| 2) |
The records referred to in subsection (1)(b) must be audited by the Auditor-General. |
| 3) |
The board must report to the Minister at least once every year on its activities. |
| 4) |
As soon as practicable after receiving a report referred to in subsection (3), the Minister must- |
| a) |
transmit a copy of the report to the Premier of each province; and |
| b) |
table it in Parliament. |
