I, Mpho Parks Tau, the Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition hereby in terms of section 15(1) and Section 14(1)(8) of the Merchandise Marks Act 17 of 1941, permits the use of the South African National Flag and the Provincial Coat of Arms as depicted in Annexure 1-2. The permission to use the South African National Flag and the provincial Coat of Arms as per Annexure 1-2 will be perpetual and absolute in nature, provided the correct requirements for use of the National Flag and the Provincial Coat of Arms are maintained. The Applicant is Maskew Miller Learning (Pty) Ltd.

The design and integrity of the South African National Flag and the Provincial Coat of Arms must be maintained in their correct proportions.
