I, Mpho Parks Tau, the Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition, in terms of section 15(1) of the Merchandise Marks Act, 1941 (Act No. 17 of 1941), permits the use of the South African National Flag  as depicted in Annexure 1. The permission to use the South African National Flag as per Annexure 1 will be perpetual and absolute in nature, provided the correct requirements for use of the National Flag are maintained. The Applicant is Rural Development in Argo, Arts ad Technology (NPO).

The design and integrity of the South African National Flag must be maintained in its correct proportions.
