I, Mpho Parks Tau, the Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition in terms of section 15(1) of the Merchandise Marks Act 17 of 1941, permits the use of the South African National Flag as depicted in Annexure 1-8. The permission to use the South African National Flag as per Annexure 1-8 will be perpetual and absolute in nature, provided the correct requirements for use of the National Flag are maintained. The Applicant is Melbro Group (Melbro Wholesale (Pty) Ltd and Melbro Retail (Pty) Ltd).

The design and integrity of the South African National Flag must be maintained in its correct proportions.
