| 1. | By virtue of the powers vested in me in terms of Regulation 2(2) of the Regulations made in terms of section 38 of the Legal Metrology Act, 2014 (Act No. 9 of 2014), published in Government Gazette No. 41854, Government Notice No. 877 on 24 August 2018, I, Mr Ebrahim Patel, Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition, hereby determine that— |
| (a) | an additional period of 6 months shall apply in respect of the use of the equipment contemplated in Regulation 2(2); and |
| (b) | this additional period shall commence on the date of publication of this Notice in the Government Gazette. |
