An educator who, in his or her capacity as a student, must pay for instruction, or any other service resulting from such instruction, which he or she follows in accordance with one or other instructional programme approved by the employer and which is offered by a department of education responsible for education or an educational institution instituted, registered or administered in terms of a law, may on a basis approved by the employer, be compensated partly or in full in a direct or indirect manner for such expenditure.
