| (1) | An initial charge of R6 318, thereafter a charge of R1 053 per hour or part thereof, are payable for the evaluation and approval of a request to immobilise, lay-up, stop or anchor within territorial waters or internal waters outside of any harbour or fishing harbour, other than a vessel that is in imminent danger or seeking shelter from severe weather conditions. |
| (2) | An initial charge of R1 053 per hour or part thereof, are payable for the evaluation and approval of a request to anchor within territorial waters or internal waters outside any harbour or fishing harbour for the purposes of bunkering. |
| (3) | The initial approval is valid for 7 days only; for a vessel remaining immobilised, laid-up or at anchor, a charge of R1 053 per day or part thereof, will apply thereafter. |
| (4) | In addition, Levies are payable as per the Determination of levies regulations, as amended. |
