| (1) | With effect from the date of commencement of these regulations, any appeal pending in terns of the repealed regulations must continue and be disposed of as though these regulations have not been made, unless the interests of justice require otherwise. |
| (2) | The provisions of subregulation (1) apply, with the necessary changes, to any application for exemption. |
| (3) | An exemption granted before the date of commencement of these regulations, lapses one year after such commencement, unless it has been renewed in terns of these regulations. |
