Multi-Party Democracy Fund

The Electoral Commission hereby gives notice in terms of Regulation 2(1) of the Regulations on Political Party Funding, 2018 that the total amount available for allocation for the period 1 April 2023 until 31 June 2023, to represented political parties, from the Multi-Party Democracy Fund established in terms of the Political Party Funding Act 6 of 2018 is R2 488 629.

In terms of Regulation 4(2) of the Electoral Commission Regulations on Political Party Funding Act no.6 of 2018, the Electoral Commission hereby further gives notice that a fee to defray the cost of administering and managing the Multi-Party Democracy Fund for the financial year 1 April 2023 until 31 March 2024 will be zero percent (0%) of the total amount.
