I, Ms Lindiwe Zulu, Minister of Social Development, hereby determine, in terms of section 12(1)(c) of the Non Profit Organisation Act, 1997 as Amended, 1 June 2023 to 31 May 2024, as the period on which nonprofit organisations operating in South Africa and making donations to individuals and organisations outside of the Republic’s borders; or providing humanitarian, charitable, religious, educational or cultural services outside the Republic’s borders as contemplated in Section 12(1)(b) of the Non Profit Organisation Act, 1997 as Amended must apply to the Director of Nonprofit Organisations for registration with the Directorate for Nonprofit Organisations.
