I, Barbara Dallas Creecy, Minister of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries, hereby under regulation 8(4) of the Waste Exclusion Regulations, 2018, published under Government Notice No. 715 in Gazette No. 41777 of 18 July 2018, give notice of the exclusion of the waste streams or portions of waste streams, from the definition of "waste" as contained in the National Environmental Management: Waste Act, 2008 (Act No. 59 of 2008), for the purposes of certain permitted uses, as set out in the Schedule hereto.

The exclusion only applies to the identified waste streams or portions of waste streams, which originates from the facilities indicated in the Schedule and in respect of the identified permitted uses.
