| (1) |
The Minister responsible for mineral resources may delegate a function entrusted to him or her in terms of this Act to— |
| (a) |
the Director-General of the Department responsible for mineral resources; or |
| (b) |
the holder of a specific post in the Department responsible for mineral resources who is not below the rank of director or its equivalent. |
| (2) |
A delegation in terms of subsection (1)— |
| (b) |
may be made subject to any condition; |
| (c) |
may be withdrawn by the Minister responsible for mineral resources. |
