In these Regulations, any expression to which a meaning has been assigned in the principal Act bears the meaning so assigned thereto, and, unless the context indicates otherwise—

"Chairperson"

means the chairperson designated as chair in terms of the regulation;

"Co-opted member"

means a member co-opted without a vote by the Council;

"education and training"

means general and further education and training;

"NEPA"

means the National Education Policy Act, 1996 (Act No. 27 of 1996);

"NETC"

means the National Education and Training Council as established in terms of regulation 2.
