Financial Markets Control Act, 1989 (Act No. 55 of 1989)24. Certain Written Matter to Bear Names of Certain Persons |
No person shall publish or issue to the public or circulate any written comment which may influence the value of listed financial instruments, unless such comment is accompanied by —
| (a) | the name of the person or persons who compiled the comment, or the name of the person or persons on the editorial staff of a newspaper or periodical who in the opinion of the editor thereof compiled the comment; or |
| (b) | disclosure of the source from which the comment or the information on which it was based, was obtained. |
