| 1. | By virtue of the powers vested in me in terms of section 10(3)(b)(iv) of the Competition Act, 1998 (Act No. 89 of 1998), I Ebrahim Patel, Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition, hereby— |
| (a) | extend the current period of designation of the South African Petroleum Industry Association (SAPIA), as determined in Government Gazette No. 48466 of 25 April 2023, for a further three (3) months until 30 November 2023; and |
| (b) | determine that this Notice shall be in force and effect as from 1 September 2023. |
