Chapter I : Practitioners: Qualifications, Admission and Removal from Roll

19. Applications for admission or readmission as practitioner to be submitted to secretary of society

 

(1) Any person who applies to a court to be—
(a) admitted as a practitioner, shall at least one month; or
(b) readmitted as a practitioner, shall at least three months,

before the date of his application deliver to the secretary of the society having jurisdiction in the area in which the court to which such application is made, is situated, together with his notice of application, a copy of his application for admission or readmission and copies of all affidavits, certificates and other documents or papers which are referred to therein or connected therewith.

(2) Upon production to the secretary referred to in subsection (1), of the application, affidavits, certificates, documents and other papers referred to therein, the secretary shall, upon payment of the fees prescribed under section 80, certify on such application that the provisions of this section have been complied with.

 

(3) Unless such certificate has been obtained, the person concerned shall not make his application to the court.
