| (1) | Subject to this Chapter, a member holds office for a period of three years as from the date of appointment of such member, and may be re-appointed for a further period not exceeding three years, in which case the procedure contemplated in section 12(3) does not apply. |
| (2) | Notwithstanding subsection (1), the Minister may extend the term of office of any member by such further period as it may take to finalise the appointment of a new Board. |
