| 1. | Check rear view mirrors. |
| 2. | Decelerate. |
| 3. | Brake. |
| 4. | Stop. |
| 5. | Apply parking brake if applicable. |
| 6. | Select neutral, if necessary. |
Note A:
At a four-way stop, yield to pedestrians and vehicles, which arrived at the intersection first.
Note B:
At a scholar patrol crossing, only proceed when the stop sign has been removed and if safe to do so.
