| (1) | Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these regulations, the Board may recommend to the Minister in cases where there is no regulatory activity for commodities or products specifically manufactured or built for export only, that specific levy payers be exempted from levies that are prescribed in terms of section 14(3)(b) of the Act. |
| (2) | Any determination with regard to the exemption of levies, made by the Minister after consultation with the Minister of Finance, shall be published by notice in the Gazette at the same time of the publication of the levies contemplated in subregulation 2(10). |
