National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications Act, 2008 (Act No. 5 of 2008)General Provisions29. Disclosure of certain information in public interest |
| (1) | The Chief Executive Officer may, notwithstanding section 32, if it is necessary in the public interest, reveal— |
| (a) | any information which he or she considers necessary to prevent the public from being misled concerning any aspect regulated by this Act; |
| (b) | the fact that a commodity is not in compliance with a compulsory specification; or |
| (c) | the name of a person who docs not comply with or does not comply fully with a provision of this Act or any aspect regulated by this Act. |
| (2) | The disclosure referred to in subsection (1) may include the trade name and trade mark of a commodity or product. |
