| (1) | The chief executive officer may appoint such staff members for the Regulator as are necessary to perform the work arising from or connected with the Regulator's functions. |

| (2) | The terms and conditions of service of staff of the Regulator are determined by the board. |

| (a) | The board may, with the approval of the Minister, in consultation with the Minister of Finance, establish, manage and administer any pension or provident fund or medical scheme for the benefit of the staff of the Regulator; |
| (b) | Such a scheme or fund for the benefit of the staff of the Regulator may be managed or administered by any other body or person. |
