| 1) | The board may— |
| a) | establish such committees as it considers necessary, to assist it in the performance of its functions in terms of this Act; and |
| b) | appoint as members of any such committee persons, including directors of the board and staff of the Institute, as the board considers appropriate. |
| 2) | Members of a committee who are not in the full-time employ of the Institute or other organs of state, are appointed on such terms and conditions, including those relating to the remuneration and allowances, as the Minister may determine with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance. |
