Institutional arrangements: National Public Transport Regulator

The National Public Transport Regulator consists of designated officials of the Department, appointed either on a full-time or part-time basis, whose specialized knowledge, training or experience, taken collectively, at least covers— |

accounting, auditing or actuarial science; |
| (e) |
tourism transport; and |
| (f) |
vehicle standards and specifications. |
| (3) |
The prescribed quorum of members of the National Public Transport Regulator contemplated in subsection (2) must take decisions of that Regulator. |

The Department must allocate staff as a dedicated unit to assist that Regulator in the performance of its functions. |
